We are seeking a General Dentist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Illinois, starting Nov 3, 2025. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule: Monday 9am-6pm and Tuesday through Thursday 8am-5pm. The dentist will engage in comprehensive dental care, focusing on patient treatment acceptance, periodontal diagnosis, and new patient exams. Proficiency in Dentrix software is required, and candidates must be licensed in Illinois with current Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
  • Achieve and maintain organizational goals for case acceptance and periodontal diagnosis
  • Conduct routine and advanced dental procedures, including SRPs and FMX as indicated
  • Educate patients regarding oral health, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
  • Collaborate with office managers to meet daily production goals
  • Utilize Dentrix for all patient records and treatment planning
  • Participate in ongoing discussions and coaching to align with best practices and organizational targets

Additional Information
  • Active Illinois dental license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Experience with Dentrix dental software is necessary
