Job Description
Our client in Illinois is seeking a skilled Dentist for a 109-day assignment starting May 11, 2026. This role involves comprehensive general dentistry, including patient exams, hygiene, fillings, and crown and bridge work. The schedule is Monday 8 AM-6 PM, Tuesday-Thursday 8 AM-5 PM, and Friday 8 AM-2 PM, focusing on a mix of patient treatments and periodic exams in a family practice setting with some pediatric cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a daily patient volume of 8-15 for treatment, with 20-35 periodic exams associated with hygiene.
- Perform comprehensive general dentistry, including exams, hygiene, fillings, crown and bridge work, and simple extractions.
- Conduct operative removable and fixed prosthodontics.
- Handle some pediatric cases, comprising less than 20% exams and less than 10% treatment.
- Prescribe antibiotics for infection or premedication as needed, with rare instances of pain medication prescription.
- Refer out most oral surgery, all endodontics, and periodontics.
- Restore dental implants (client does not place them).
