Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a 150-day locum tenens assignment starting Jun 1, 2026, in Louisiana. This role offers a dynamic Monday-Friday schedule with varying hours, including extended days and early Fridays, along with two days per month working on a mobile unit. You will provide comprehensive general dentistry care to patients of all ages in a community health setting, handling bread and butter cases such as fillings, exams, simple extractions, and scaling, while ensuring high patient satisfaction and quality of care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with patients of all ages in a community health setting.
  • Manage a wide range of general dentistry cases, including fillings, exams, simple extractions, and scaling.
  • Ensure high patient satisfaction and deliver quality patient care.
  • Be comfortable seeing and treating children; nitrous oxide is available on-site.
  • Handle only basic procedures, as all surgery, endodontics, crowns, bridges, and dentures are referred out.
  • Participate in mobile unit work two days out of each month.


Additional Information

  • The EMR system used is Intergy.
  • Comfort working with pediatric patients is a required skill.
