Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 5-week locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Feb 23, 2026. This role features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a focus on extractions and root canal cases. The Dentist will work primarily out of two chairs and may also see hygiene cases on slower days.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform complicated extractions and all types of root canal procedures
  • Manage a variety of dental cases, focusing on keeping more procedures in-house
  • Work out of two dental chairs with flexibility to see hygiene cases as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in general dentistry required
  • Valid Maryland dental license required
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and Nitrous Oxide Certification required
  • Experience with Eaglesoft preferred
