Job Description
We are seeking a Dentist for an engaging 260-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, beginning Apr 27, 2026. This full-time role involves a Monday through Friday schedule with specific daily hours, requiring travel between two practice locations to provide essential general dentistry services, including crowns, fillings, dentures, and hygiene checks, with potential for implants and extractions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Travel between two locations approximately 25-30 miles apart.
- Work schedule: Monday-Wednesday from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM at one location.
- Work schedule: Thursday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM at a second location.
- Provide general dentistry services, including crowns, fillings, dentures, and hygiene.
- Care for a patient base primarily consisting of adults, with very few small children.
- Manage a daily volume of approximately 7 hygiene checks and 7-8 procedures.
- Collaborate with an on-site permanent doctor for support and mentorship.
- Opportunity to perform implants and extractions, if experienced.
