Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 64-day locum tenens assignment with our client in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Dec 8, 2025, and features a Monday through Thursday schedule with day shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable as the solo provider and proficient in a wide range of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, and general dentistry. Familiarity with Dentrix software and required certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA registration are necessary for this role.

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am-4:00pm (flexible to 7:45am-5:00pm if needed)

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver comprehensive general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Perform oral surgery, endodontic procedures, and bread and butter dentistry
  • Manage all aspects of patient care as the solo dentist
  • Utilize Dentrix software for patient records and treatment planning
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant dental regulations and protocols
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused clinical environment

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active North Carolina dental license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
  • Invisalign experience is a plus but not required
  • Board certification not required
