Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dentist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Dakota, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with options for 5 eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday or 4 ten-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday. Candidates with rural or Indian Health Service experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Manage walk-in and emergency dental cases during the first hour of each clinic day
  • Deliver scheduled patient care for the remainder of each day
  • Potentially rotate between two clinic sites, with primary duties at the main clinic
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and dental hygienists as needed
  • Adhere to all applicable clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required
  • Active dental license in any state accepted
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and Nitrous Oxide Certification required
  • Experience in rural or Indian Health Service settings is a significant plus
