Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico, starting Nov 24, 2025. This opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, providing care for a high volume of pediatric dental patients. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of pediatric dentistry experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive dental care for pediatric patients
  • Manage a high patient volume, up to 40-50 patients per day
  • Perform examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
  • Administer conscious sedation as appropriate
  • Educate patients and guardians on preventive dental care
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
  • Collaborate with dental team members to deliver quality care

Additional Information
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric dentistry experience required
  • Must have Medicaid eligibility for credentialing in New Mexico
  • Active NM dental license required
  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and conscious sedation
