Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment in New Mexico, beginning Nov 24, 2025. This high-volume pediatric dental opportunity runs Monday through Wednesday, 8am to 5pm, and is ideal for candidates with at least one year of pediatric dentistry experience. Proficiency with Dentrix EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide dental care to pediatric patients in a high-volume clinic (up to 40-50 patients per day)
  • Perform routine and advanced pediatric dental procedures
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children
  • Administer conscious sedation as appropriate
  • Document patient care using Dentrix software
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid and Dentaquest credentialing requirements

Additional Information
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric dentistry experience required
  • Must have an active New Mexico dental license
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Conscious Sedation, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Medicaid and Dentaquest credentialing required
