Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Dentist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment in New Mexico, beginning Nov 24, 2025. This high-volume pediatric dental opportunity runs Monday through Wednesday, 8am to 5pm, and is ideal for candidates with at least one year of pediatric dentistry experience. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide dental care to pediatric patients in a high-volume clinic (up to 40-50 patients per day)
- Perform routine and advanced pediatric dental procedures
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children
- Administer conscious sedation as appropriate
- Document patient care using Dentrix software
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid and Dentaquest credentialing requirements
Additional Information
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric dentistry experience required
- Must have an active New Mexico dental license
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Conscious Sedation, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Medicaid and Dentaquest credentialing required
