Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Dentist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment with our client in New York. Starting Jan 5, 2026, this role features a Monday through Thursday schedule with varying day shifts. You will provide comprehensive dental care in a private practice setting, collaborating with a skilled dental team and supporting staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general dentistry services, including restorative procedures and routine exams
  • Manage three columns of patients with the assistance of two dental assistants
  • Oversee dental care for approximately 9–11 restorative and exam patients per day
  • Collaborate with a long-term dental assistant and an experienced hygienist (11–12 patients per day)
  • Coordinate with onsite laboratory services as needed
  • Ensure adherence to clinic protocols and high standards of patient care


Additional Information

  • Must hold an active New York dental license
  • Previous experience in private practice is preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills required
