Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 160-day assignment in New York, commencing on May 4, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive general dentistry services in a bustling private practice, focusing on restorative cases, crowns, bridges, and a significant volume of denture work during daytime shifts. The ideal candidate will manage a varied patient load, perform extractions, and demonstrate exceptional chairside manner, particularly with phobic patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive general dentistry across three columns in a private practice, supported by two dental assistants.
  • Perform a wide range of production cases, including dentures, extractions, crowns, and bridges.
  • Manage a caseload of 9-11 restorative and exam patients per doctor shift.
  • Conduct restorative procedures, crown and bridge work, fillings, and administer Nitrous Oxide.
  • Handle new patient evaluations, adjustments, and emergency dental cases.
  • Utilize a supportive lab that can come onsite if needed.
  • Demonstrate strong chairside manner, patience, and experience with phobic patients.
  • Opportunity to participate in one IV sedation day per month (not mandatory), managing up to four cases with an anesthesia team handling pre-op and prep.
