We are seeking a SoonerCare-enrolled Dentist for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in Oklahoma, starting Nov 3, 2025. This opportunity offers a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8am to 5pm and focuses on providing a full range of general and pediatric dental procedures. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality patient care in a locum environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform all general dentistry procedures, including crowns, fillings, bridges, simple and complicated extractions, dentures, and root canals
  • Provide pediatric dental care such as stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, and space maintainers
  • Refer surgical extractions as appropriate
  • Specify procedural comfort levels and identify cases requiring referral
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety guidelines

Additional Information

  • Must be enrolled in SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid)
  • Current Oklahoma dental license required
  • Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Medicaid Certification, and Nitrous Oxide Certification
