Barton is seeking a Dentist for a 37-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Oct 27, 2025, with a Monday through Thursday daytime schedule. This role involves providing comprehensive general dentistry services, including a high volume of restorative and prosthodontic procedures, to a diverse patient population. Proficiency with Dentrix EMR is also required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform all aspects of general dentistry, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and dentures (with a high volume of these procedures)
  • Provide care for pediatric patients, including stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, pulpectomies, and simple extractions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix software
  • Ensure high standards of patient safety and infection control
  • Collaborate with dental staff to deliver comprehensive patient care

Additional Information

  • Must possess an active Oregon dental license
  • Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Nitrous Oxide Certification
  • Experience with 100% OHP patient population preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
