Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dentist for an 8-week locum tenens assignment in South Carolina starting Sep 11, 2025. The schedule includes Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5pm, with an additional shift needed on Friday, Sep 12. This role focuses on providing comprehensive restorative dental care including crowns, fillings, extractions, and dentures. Proficiency in Dentrix dental software is required. The ideal candidate will have active South Carolina dental licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver general dentistry care including crowns, fillings, extractions, and dentures
  • Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Dentrix
  • Adhere to clinical and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with dental team to ensure high-quality patient care

Additional Information

  • Active South Carolina dental license required
