Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled General Dentist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in South Dakota. The assignment begins on 07/28/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. The provider will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dental care in a hospital setting, including fillings, root canals, extractions, dentures, crowns, and bridges. While the ability to perform root canals and treat pediatric patients is preferred, these cases can be referred out if needed. This position offers an opportunity to practice a wide range of general dentistry procedures in a supportive hospital environment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive dental exams and treatment planning

• Complete fillings and restorative procedures

• Conduct root canal treatments (can be referred out if needed)

• Perform tooth extractions

• Fit and adjust dentures

• Prepare and place crowns and bridges

• Provide general dental care for patients of all ages

• Utilize Dentrix dental practice management software
