Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Dec 19, 2025. This role features day shifts with a schedule spanning select dates in December and January. The ideal candidate will have experience treating children, including those with special needs, and be comfortable performing routine dental care and check-ups.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct dental check-ups and routine visits for pediatric patients
- Oversee and evaluate the work of dental hygienists during cleaning appointments
- Provide care to special needs children; advance notice required if unable to see certain patients
- Utilize Dentrix for electronic medical records
- Ensure compliance with all required licensure and certifications, including nitrous oxide administration
- Maintain high standards of safety and infection control
Additional Information
- Active Texas dental license or eligibility to obtain one required
- DDS or DMD degree from a U.S.-accredited dental school
- Current DEA and CPR certifications required
- Nitrous Oxide Certification and Medicaid Certification required
- Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) certification required
- Experience with pediatric and special needs patients strongly preferred
