Schedule: Day shifts, typically 7:00am to 3:30pm; flexible days to cover when the current locum is off (he covers two 10-hour shifts per week and takes off one week per month)
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain overall dental care responsibility for the management of dental services to each patient
Perform dental assessments, radiographic exams, and treatment, including emergency procedures such as oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and periodontal therapy within the scope of general dentistry
Formulate working diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate or modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes
Evaluate all patients returning from offsite dental visits
Participate in training and orientation of healthcare staff
Provide oral hygiene education and discharge instructions to all patients seen
Supervise and coach dental assistants
Ensure sterilization and disinfection of equipment
Additional Information
Wyoming dental license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
Preference for candidates experienced in high-volume clinics
Familiarity with TechCare EMR system
