Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in California. This position starts Jan 5, 2026, with a Monday through Thursday outpatient schedule, 7:30am to 6pm. You will join a high-volume dermatology practice, supporting a backlog of cases and working closely with dermatologists and MOHS surgeons.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage a wide range of outpatient dermatology cases independently
  • Evaluate and treat all types of dermatologic conditions presenting to the clinic
  • Collaborate with dermatologists and MOHS surgeons as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Address a backlog of cases efficiently and effectively
  • Document patient encounters using Epic EMR

Additional Information
  • Must have at least 2 years of current experience in a dermatology practice
  • Experience must include collaboration with dermatologists and MOHS surgeons
  • Not suitable for candidates whose dermatology experience is limited to urgent care or primary care settings
  • Active California license required
