We are seeking a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with Emergency Medicine experience for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This opportunity begins Jan 26, 2026, and offers 10-hour midlevel shifts from 11 AM to 9 PM, with supportive physician presence and a dynamic emergency department setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver autonomous anesthesia care in the Emergency Department with physician supervision available for consultation
  • Manage an average patient volume of 20 per day in a 25-bed provisional Level 4 trauma emergency department
  • Respond to a range of emergency cases, including patients over 20 weeks gestation with abdominal complaints and trauma cases
  • Participate in ED responses to house codes and provide support for various emergency procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedic, OB, general surgery, neurology, and urology consultants
  • Coordinate with radiology, laboratory, and surgical services available 24/7
  • Perform EKG interpretation support with ED physicians and cardiologists

Additional Information
  • Michigan license required at time of name clear; IMLC not accepted
  • National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Must have a clean background for credentialing
  • DEA required (verbal confirmation at name clear)
