Responsibilities and Duties
Provide direct patient care in a rural emergency department
Evaluate and manage a broad range of emergency presentations and injuries
Perform core emergency department procedures
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Collaborate closely with onsite physicians and nursing staff
Stabilize higher-acuity patients and assist with transfers to higher levels of care
Complete thorough and accurate documentation
Additional Information
Minimum 2 years of emergency or high-acuity urgent care experience required
Must be comfortable practicing autonomously in a rural critical access ER
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
CA license required
