Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide direct patient care in a rural emergency department
  • Evaluate and manage a broad range of emergency presentations and injuries
  • Perform core emergency department procedures
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate closely with onsite physicians and nursing staff
  • Stabilize higher-acuity patients and assist with transfers to higher levels of care
  • Complete thorough and accurate documentation

Additional Information
  • Minimum 2 years of emergency or high-acuity urgent care experience required
  • Must be comfortable practicing autonomously in a rural critical access ER
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • CA license required
