Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide acute care to patients presenting with emergent medical conditions
- Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies in accordance with facility protocols
- Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately and timely
- Adhere to all relevant state and facility guidelines for emergency medical practice
Additional Information
- Must have at least 3 years of recent emergency medicine experience
- Required licenses: Kentucky Nurse Practitioner license
- Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
