Responsibilities and Duties
Provide emergency medical care and intervention for diverse patient populations
Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency setting
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff in a fast-paced environment
Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately using Epic EMR
Respond rapidly to clinical emergencies and perform advanced life support as needed
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
Must have a valid North Carolina license for nurse practitioners
Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Proficiency with Epic EMR platform
Recent emergency department experience in comparable facilities is required
