Responsibilities and Duties
Provide acute care to patients presenting in the emergency department
Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
Stabilize and manage emergent cases in collaboration with other ER staff
Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
Adhere to established protocols and clinical guidelines
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Additional Information
Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Recent ER experience in similar size facilities strongly preferred
Proficiency with Epic EMR
