Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide acute care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care
- Interpret diagnostic tests and initiate appropriate interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly
- Respond promptly to critical situations and prioritize patient care based on acuity
Additional Information
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New Mexico required
- Emergency Medicine background and recent experience required
- Must have Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
