Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 2-day assignment in South Dakota, starting Apr 27, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts as the sole provider, where you will round on patients in the Emergency Department, stabilize them for transfer, and manage a range of critical access ED cases, from minor injury repair to intubation.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate as the sole provider in the Emergency Department.
• Round on patients within the ED.
• Stabilize patients for transfer to other facilities.
• Manage Critical Access ED cases.
• Be comfortable handling cases ranging from minor injury repair up to intubation.
• Work 24-hour shifts.

Additional Information

• Board Certification required in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care.
