Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity features 4pm-2am shifts in a fast track urgent care and emergency medicine setting, with occasional fill-in coverage as needed and strong clinical support.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide care for patients in a fast track urgent care and emergency medicine environment
  • See patients for 9 hours of the 10-hour scheduled shift
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a range of emergency and urgent care presentations
  • Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Document patient encounters using Epic EMR

Additional Information
  • Must have a valid California license
  • Recent ER experience within the last 2 years required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Emergency Medicine board certification required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
