Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, with per diem shifts ranging from 2pm-12am and 4pm-2am. Join a fast track emergency medicine team providing direct patient care with strong support and utilize the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast track emergency medicine setting
  • See patients for 9 of 10 scheduled hours per shift
  • Collaborate with other Physician Assistants to cover fast track shifts
  • Coordinate care with emergency medicine team and support staff
  • Document all patient encounters using the Epic EMR system

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in California
  • Required board certification: Emergency Medicine
  • Must have recent ER experience within the last 2 years
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Prior experience in fast track urgent care and emergency medicine preferred
