Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This opportunity starts on Jan 6, 2026, and features 12-hour day shifts, with hours of either 9am-9pm or 1pm-1am, including some weekends. The ideal candidate must have trauma experience in an academic setting and be comfortable using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide acute care for emergency medicine patients in a trauma academic setting
  • Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, and initial management of trauma cases
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency care
  • Document all patient encounters and procedures using Epic EMR
  • Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled


Additional Information

  • Must have trauma experience in an academic setting
  • Must hold an active Missouri license
  • Required board certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC), Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP), Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC)
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR required
