Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
Perform thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
Collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Document all patient encounters accurately in the Epic EMR system
Manage pediatric and adult emergencies, applying current protocols and best practices
Respond promptly to rapidly changing patient conditions and prioritize care efficiently
Additional Information
Active North Carolina license required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Recent emergency department experience in comparable facilities is essential
