We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina starting Dec 24, 2025. This opportunity features consecutive 12-hour and 9-hour shifts, providing critical emergency care coverage in a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide emergency medical care and interventions in a fast-paced environment
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and urgent medical conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Document all patient encounters and clinical findings in the Epic EMR system
  • Utilize advanced life support skills as required for emergency cases

Additional Information
  • Recent ER experience in similar size facilities required
  • Must hold a valid Physician Assistant license in North Carolina
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
