Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in a timely and efficient manner
- Stabilize patients and coordinate transfer when necessary
- Collaborate with nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to all protocols and guidelines for emergency medicine practice
Additional Information
- Active Kansas medical license required
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine required
- Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Prior experience in emergency medicine strongly preferred
