Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Doctor for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This opportunity begins on Jan 12, 2026, and consists of overnight 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical access emergency settings and hold current ACLS and ATLS certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide emergency medical care in a critical access facility
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
  • Stabilize patients and coordinate transfers when necessary
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Document clinical encounters and procedures accurately
  • Respond to trauma and medical emergencies in accordance with established protocols

Additional Information
  • Board certification required in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
  • Active Minnesota license required
  • ACLS and ATLS certifications required
  • Critical access emergency department experience preferred
