Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Dec 24, 2025. The schedule includes two 12-hour day shifts and one 12-hour day shift with varying hours. The ideal candidate will have recent ER experience in similar sized facilities and be comfortable working with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department
  • Assess, diagnose, and stabilize acute medical conditions
  • Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR
  • Respond to critical situations in a timely and effective manner

Additional Information
  • Must hold a valid North Carolina medical license
  • Recent ER experience in similar size facilities required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
