Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 52-day locum tenens assignment with our client in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Feb 3, 2026, and features 12-hour overnight shifts. You will join a team providing standard solo Emergency Room coverage with split mid-level support.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver solo Emergency Room coverage with support from two mid-level providers
  • Manage care for patients daily in a facility with an open ICU
  • Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR for patient documentation
  • Collaborate with anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology support services, all available 24 hours
  • Provide emergency care for adult patients


Additional Information

  • Must hold a valid North Carolina medical license
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
  • Experience with high-volume emergency departments preferred
