 We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma. Starting on 07/28/2025, this role offers 8-15 shifts per month, primarily night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with some day shifts available. The position focuses on providing emergency medical care in an ER. Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, formulating diagnoses, and rendering immediate medical services. This opportunity requires expertise in emergency medicine and may extend beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories from patients

• Perform physical examinations appropriate to presenting problems

• Formulate primary and secondary diagnoses as required

• Provide immediate medical services in emergency situations

• Manage a diverse range of emergency cases in an ER

• Utilize RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) for patient records

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the ER

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

• Deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Make quick, informed decisions in critical situations

Additional Information:

• Any state medical license will be accepted

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
