Responsibilities and Duties
Provide emergency medical evaluation, stabilization, and treatment to patients of all ages
Manage acute medical and traumatic conditions in accordance with hospital protocols
Collaborate closely with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and consulting specialists for coordinated care
Accurately document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record
Supervise and support advanced practice providers during designated coverage hours
Participate in handoffs and communication with oncoming providers for continuity of care
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, credentialing requirements, and state regulations
Additional Information
Must hold a valid physician license in Pennsylvania
Board certification in Emergency Medical Services required
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
Physicians should be proficient in intubations, laceration repairs, and central line placement
Strong communication, adaptability, and ability to collaborate effectively in a small-team setting
