Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves night shifts from 7p-7a, providing comprehensive emergency room care, evaluating a variety of acuity levels, and performing essential procedures such as resuscitation, intubation, and ultrasound-guided IVs. The Physician will be integral to diagnosing and treating patients effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Treat patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring proper injury care and disease diagnosis.
  • Evaluate a variety of acuity levels and determine appropriate courses of treatment.
  • Perform required procedures including resuscitation, intubation, ultrasound-guided IVs, laceration repairs, cardiac pacing and defibrillation, pressor support, and management of sepsis, stroke, and STEMI patients.
  • Interpret own X-rays overnight.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team with other providers and emergency staff members.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is required.
  • EMR system utilized: Epic.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
  • This facility is not a trauma center.
  • Staffing ratios generally feature less than two patients per hour.
