Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and urgent conditions
- Stabilize patients and coordinate care with consulting specialists as needed
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to established protocols, policies, and best practices in emergency medicine
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Texas medical license
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
- Prior experience in an emergency department setting strongly preferred
