Job Description
Our client in Texas is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 5-day assignment starting May 10, 2026. This role involves working 24-hour ER shifts, providing comprehensive emergency medicine care at a trauma facility, and managing a diverse caseload of family medicine cases, including gynecology, obstetrics, and pediatric care for patients from newborns through adolescence.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medicine care at a Trauma facility.
- Manage a diverse caseload encompassing both emergency medicine and family medicine.
- See 25-30 patients per shift in an Emergency Department.
- Utilize 24-hour support services including Anesthesia, Laboratory, and Radiology.
- Perform well woman care, prenatal care, and vaginal deliveries.
- Provide comprehensive care for newborns, infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.
- Conduct newborn resuscitation and general outpatient care.
