Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive diabetes care to patients in a virtual diabetes clinic
Manage care for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, including insulin titration and medication optimization
Review patient charts, making appropriate recommendations and updates to treatment plans
Conduct virtual patient examinations to assess general physical condition
Counsel patients on disease management and provide guidance on diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications
Additional Information
Experience with telehealth is required
Must be comfortable working in a technology-driven environment
Familiarity with Tidepool, Dexcom CGM, and telemedicine platforms preferred
Required board certification: Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
Licensure in MD, NY, PA, or VA is accepted
