This full-time opportunity begins on June 2, 2025, and spans 240 days with potential for extension. The position involves working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing specialized endocrinology care with a focus on diabetes management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse patient load, primarily consisting of diabetes cases and associated medication management, while also handling other endocrine disorders.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive endocrinology care, with a primary focus on diabetes management 

• Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups for various endocrine disorders 

• Manage medication regimens for diabetic patients and other endocrine conditions 

• Interpret laboratory results and adjust treatment plans accordingly 

• Collaborate with primary care physicians on referred diabetes cases 

• Educate patients on diabetes self-management and lifestyle modifications 

• Perform endocrine-related procedures as needed 

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records 

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated patient care 

• Stay current with the latest developments in endocrinology and diabetes care

Additional Information: 

• New York medical license required for this position 

• Will rotate between two clinic locations in Ithaca and Cortland 

• Experience in managing a high volume of diabetes cases is essential 

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with referring primary care physicians
