Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive family medical care within a tribal health context
  • Manage a variety of cases with a focus on American Indian and Alaska Native patients
  • Conduct examinations and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
  • Maintain patient records using the Cerner EMR system
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Alaska nursing license and DEA certification
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CPR
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in family medicine
  • Prior experience working with AI/AN communities highly desirable
  • Must have a valid driver's license
