Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive family medical care within a tribal health context
Manage a variety of cases with a focus on American Indian and Alaska Native patients
Conduct examinations and develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
Maintain patient records using the Cerner EMR system
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
Additional Information
Must hold an active Alaska nursing license and DEA certification
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CPR
Minimum of 2 years experience in family medicine
Prior experience working with AI/AN communities highly desirable
Must have a valid driver's license
