Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 114-day locum tenens assignment in Alaska starting Mar 26, 2026. This role features day shifts from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities during scheduled days. Candidates should be experienced as sole providers and comfortable in a fast-paced environment where patient volume may fluctuate with the season.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assess patients in a dynamic and sometimes fast-paced clinical environment
• Manage patient care independently as the sole provider or collaboratively as needed
• Adapt care delivery based on seasonal patient volume changes

Additional Information

• Active Alaska NP license required
• Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, ideally with prior sole provider experience
• Orientation required for those new to the client (typically 3 days)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
