Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Sep 29, 2025. The position involves caring for a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient base, with full support from translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants. The schedule consists of day shifts from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm with a break from 2 pm to 3 pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation and management of patient records
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients, utilizing available translation services as needed


Additional Information

  • Must have active California DEA and Furnishing License
  • Required Board Certification: Family Medicine
  • Previous locum tenens experience required
  • Experience in FQHC, Rural Health, or IHS settings preferred
