Job Description

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in California. This role begins on Sep 1, 2025, and involves a schedule of Monday to Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The practitioner will deliver comprehensive primary care services in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full-scope primary care services across all ages, including acute care for common ailments such as colds, coughs, and flu, as well as behavioral health and substance abuse outpatient follow-up.
  • Manage women's health, adult and geriatric care, and LGBTQIA patient visits, including HIV and Prep testing.
  • Comfortably communicate and provide care in Spanish, particularly for geriatric and adult care.
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR for documenting and managing patient information.


Additional Information

  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in California
  • Spanish proficiency is highly preferred
