Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in a walk-in clinic environment
- Perform evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and manage patient medication plans in accordance with DEA regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with clinic staff and physicians to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
- Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner required
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care accepted
- Prior experience in walk-in or urgent care settings strongly preferred
