Job Description
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts on Feb 2, 2026, for a 60-day contract, working day shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The provider will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including a high percentage of Spanish-speaking patients, within a facility utilizing the Epic EMR system.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care in a Family Practice setting
- Manage acute and chronic conditions for a diverse patient population
- Serve a patient base that is approximately 75 percent Spanish-speaking, with support from translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants
- Care for a patient population that is approximately 78 percent Medical/Medicaid
- Adhere to protocols for FQHC/Rural Health/IHS environments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with clinical support staff to deliver high-quality care
Additional Information
- Locum experience required
- FQHC/Rural Health/IHS experience preferred
- Recent experience must be in Family Practice (Internal Medicine and Pediatrics experience will not be accepted)
- Must have active CA license, DEA, and Furnishing license
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
