Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 12, 2026. This full-time opportunity offers a schedule of 3-4 days per week, 7:30am-5:00pm, in an outpatient setting serving patients of all ages. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide full-scope family medicine care in an outpatient setting
  • Deliver primary care services to patients of all ages
  • Conduct wellness checks, physicals, and manage common conditions such as cold, cough, and flu
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including dental and dermatology professionals
  • Utilize Athenahealth EMR for patient documentation

Additional Information
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner required
  • California license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • High Spanish-speaking patient population; Spanish language skills preferred but not mandatory
