Job Description
We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for our client in California, for a 100-day assignment beginning Jun 1, 2026. This role involves standard 8 AM to 5 PM shifts, providing comprehensive family medicine care including cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, and women's health services such as IUDs, pre-natal, and post-natal cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a wide range of general family medicine cases.
- Provide care for common ailments like cold, cough, and flu.
- Address chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
- Perform women's health services including IUDs, pre-natal, and post-natal care.
- Conduct wellness checks and injury prevention.
- Serve as the primary healthcare provider in a rural community setting.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
- Experience with Nextgen EMR system.
