Job Description
We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an 11-day assignment in California, starting Apr 20, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm schedule, focusing on routine check-ups, preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illnesses, including patients with multiple comorbidities. Women's health experience is a plus for this assignment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Routine Check-ups & Preventive Care: Annual physical exams, vaccinations, health screenings (for example, cholesterol, diabetes), and wellness advice.
- Chronic Disease Management: Treatment for ongoing conditions like hypertension, diabetes, asthma, arthritis, and heart disease.
- Acute Illnesses: Common colds, flu, ear infections, sore throats, and minor injuries (sprains, cuts, and similar).
- Required to see patients who have multiple comorbidities.
- Women's health experience is a PLUS but not required.
